Social promotion

Tunisia is one of the first Arabic countries which has established Social Security System to achieve social justice and regional balance taking into consideration the basic recommendation mentioned in the International labour convention, 1952 (No. 102)

In Tunisia, the social system provides services and benefits for its members among its eight branches of social security to protect them from 

social contingencies that may occur during their professional life.

To benefit from one of these legal social security system , it is absolutely required that each individual should acquires the status of an employee or employer regardless of whether he is in private or public sector. In addition, Tunisian legislator has created legal regimes which almost take into account specifies of employment sectors.

As a result, these laws grant certain social and professional privileges that vary according to social security system adopted in the Status of beneficiary.
